South Dakota Olympic Development Program has stellar first year – For the past 10 years, South Dakota hasn’t sent a team to the Olympic Development Program soccer tryouts. However, in 2009 the program was back in place and an instant success with close to 200 players participating. |

Karlie Mueller selected for Region II Team |

Karlie Mueller of Sioux Falls, SD has been selected to the United States Youth Soccer Region II Girls Olympic Development Program Pool Team in her age group. Regional and National coaches selected her at a regional camp held in DeKalb, Illinois. At this camp, the top 18 players from each of our 14 Midwestern states competed for selection to the Pool Team. Only 30 players were selected in each age group. Also making the Region II Pool in 2010 but not making holdover camp: Jordyn Henderson, Garrett Pochop, Alyssa Brazil, and Darby Hugunin |

SDODP holding tryouts in Aberdeen & Brookings (Oct 24 & 25) – The South Dakota Olympic Development Program will continue tryouts in Aberdeen & Brookings next week. The Aberdeen tryouts will start late Saturday afternoon and continue through the evening. The Brookings tryouts will start Sunday morning with a second session in the early afternoon.
